A paramedic, far left, attempts to move an injured man from his vehicle, which hit a power pole, onto a stretcher while a Farmington firefighter keeps an eye on the power lines above the scene of a two-car accident Sunday that caused power outages downtown. The wreck at the intersection of Lake Street and Broadway occurred when the man drove through a red light and was hit by a man driving with his children, who were not seriously injured, according to Farmington Police Cpl. Donnie Kee. The man driving alone, not identified by police at the time of the accident, was conscious when he was taken to San Juan Regional Medical Center with injury to his head.
