i dropped the photos in a soundless Soundslide, because it’s an easier format to view all the photos in. it just takes an extra second, but is well worth it — a better alternative to scrolling down 101 photos x 600 or so pixels.
i’m updating this from Nashville, where i’m doing the multimedia training for the Chips Quinn at the Freedom Forum’s Diversity Institute location on the Vanderbilt campus. it’s a pretty nice spot. the little i’ve seen of Nashville so far makes it seem like a great place, but i won’t get much time to check out the whole city until the program’s last day, Friday. meanwhile, the schedule ahead is pretty packed, so probably slim post-pickens until we’re done. when that happens, though, i ought to be putting up a couple of video projects that i’ll be making in collaboration with one or two other people. soooooo, keep checking. there might be an update with video in a couple of days. xavier-overandout
